Let's get started! In this video we’ll show you how to generate product meta descriptions with Chat GPT and Store Manager for WooCommerce. Before we proceed with the content generation, let's check the data we have now. Here you can see my WooCommerce products that I will generate meta descriptions for. As you can see, metadata fields are empty at the moment. Let’s check one product in the admin panel of my WooCommerce store. No product meta description available as well. Pause. In order to generate new meta descriptions, let's start with our Prompt editing. For that, go to: Chat GPT menu and open Prompt Book. Here you will see a list of prompts available at the moment that can be applied massively. Here you can create your own prompt per your needs. I will use the prompt that allows me to Generate product meta descriptions based on product name and brand or manufacturer. You can find this prompt in the description below. Perfect Brands plugin is supported. Also here you can see that my target field is Product meta description. That is the field that the result will be saved into. Also here you can find a macros list with product fields that can be used for the content generation. Play around with your prompt to make sure it allows you to generate the perfect content per your needs. I will generate the meta descriptions and use the product name in my prompt. Do not forget to hit apply to save changes. Pause. Once you are done with your prompt, go back to the products list, and select all products that you would like to apply this prompt to. I would recommend selecting a few products to check the result, before applying this prompt to all products. Use the Chat GPT button to open plugin settings. Pause. Here you can select the prompt that you would like to apply, and the action to be performed. In my case I will Generate Product Meta descriptions based on product name and brand, and replace the existing meta descriptions, if any. Let’s run the process and go to the Tasks queue to see the Chat GPT in action. Here you can see the list of products and tasks that are executed. The status is changed from Pending to Generated once the meta data is generated. Here you can see the Response from Chat GPT before applying it to your products. If you’re satisfied with the result, hit apply for each product one-by-one or in bulk. Once the changes are applied, you can check the generated meta description on your website. Pause. Here you can see the updated meta data in Store Manager for WooCommerce software. Also let’s check our product in the admin panel. Do not forget to refresh the page to see the result. Here you can see newly generated product meta descriptions. You can perform this action for all your products in bulk. Also you can replace, append or prepend generated texts, or use other product fields like color, size, or any other to enrich or rewrite your product meta data. Pause.
